Tiffany Brothers, an American Airlines Flight Attendant, was diagnosed with ALS in February 2018 at the age of 33. ALS is a cruel and ruthless disease that currently has no cure. It declares war on the body, destroying motor neurons and leaving it’s victim’s mind a prisoner in a body that has progressively stops functioning on its own.
Her father, American Airlines Captian John Brothers and his wife Debbie, an American Airlines Flight Attendant, had the thrill of pinning Tiffany ’s wings at her graduation as a new flight attendant in November 2016. Unfortunately, the career that she loved was cut short by this disease. A short seven months after her diagnosis, Tiffany is now restricted to a wheelchair and in need of round-the-clock care.
Medical costs and treatment are extremely burdensome, with out of pocket expenses in excess of $100,000 and increasing daily.
